Evelyn had to say...

Divorced mother of two (23/19), healthcare mediator.

I have loved books my whole life.  There are book shelves in every room of my house and all are overflowing.  In my home library I have entire collections of my favorite authors:  Sue Grafton, Michael Connelly, Stephen King, Mary Jo Putney, Liz Carlyle, Dorothy Garlock, and Loretta Chase.  I have all of the Harry Potter (JK Rowling) and Mary Russell (Laurie R King) books.  My daughter and I love the Harry Potter series so much that we each have a tattoo of Hermoine's Time Turner (reference:  HP and the Prisoner of Azkaban")!

I'm in the process of collecting all of Georgette Heyer's books.  Many are out-of-print so I'll just have to be patient.

I also enjoy collecting science books especially those related to genetics, evolution and skepticism (e.g., Michael Shermer, Stephen Jay Gould, James Randi, Richard Dawkins, and Jared Diamond).  Other favorites include histories related to WW I and Queen Victoria, books about baseball and the entertainment industry (favorites: Marx Brothers and Marilyn Monroe).

I have lots of romances, mysteries, histories, biographies, current and classical literature.   In addition, I have an extensive collection of quilting and crafts books.  There's a little bit of everything in my house!

For those browsing my Wish List:  please note that some of the books listed are for hardbacks only.  These books are for my Keeper Shelves and I prefer the hardcover versions.  Thanks!
